General Dentistry for Your Family’s Complete Oral Health
Preventive Dentistry
Preventive dentistry can help you maintain optimal oral health. Maintaining your routine exams and cleanings will help you avoid problems such as tooth decay, gum disease, and tooth discoloration. We also offer dental sealants and fluoride treatments, which can be especially beneficial for young children. In all of our treatments, we are committed to personalized care. We will spend ample time with you and your family, answering your questions and creating an appropriate treatment plan.
Dental Technology
We proudly use the latest in dental technology to improve your care. With our CEREC® system, Dr. Watson can design, create, and attach dental restorations in a single visit. He can also use soft tissue lasers to treat gum disease and perform cosmetic gum contouring. Air abrasion instruments will allow Dr. Watson to reshape your teeth and remove damaged tissues, often with no need for anesthesia.
Family Dentistry
Dr. Watson and his team can treat patients of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. With our commitment to personalized care, we will develop an appropriate treatment plan, keeping your age and health needs in mind. Children are just as prone to tooth decay as adults. Therefore, all patients should undergo routine cleanings. A father himself, Dr. Watson has a great manner with kids and can help them feel comfortable in the office.
Root Canal Therapy
If you are suffering from a damaged or badly decayed tooth, root canal therapy is often the only way to preserve your tooth. During root canal therapy, Dr. Watson will remove bacteria and infected tissues, using an air abrasion instrument. Next, your tooth will be filled, and a dental crown will be placed. Root canal therapy can typically be completed in a single visit.
Extractions
Dr. Watson will always attempt to save compromised teeth. However, if your teeth are severely damaged, extraction may be the only option. You may also require extraction if you do not have enough room in your mouth to accommodate wisdom teeth. Dr. Watson can perform tooth extractions, as well as more complex cases, such as the removal of impacted teeth, at his dental practice.
Sedation Dentistry
We understand that you may feel nervous about dental care, so we offer several sedation options to help you relax. Nitrous oxide is a common choice, as it wears off quickly. If you have severe anxiety, we can administer oral sedation, and for extensive procedures, we can coordinate general anesthesia with a licensed anesthesiologist.
